On the eastern tip of the continent lives a tribe called Rian, at peace with the beasts and the animals of the forest. One day a curse settles over the Napooa Forest where they dwell, turning every animal into a ferocious beast. As the days pass, the monsters begin to threaten the livelihood of the tribe itself.

Seeing the horror come upon his people, the Elder of the Rian orders his daughter Xena and her friends to find the source of the curse.

Xena, the first follower of the Rian, and her friends face their first trial. They set out toward the ruins in the forest, and on the way they are attacked by mad beasts and by monsters they have never seen before. Knowing nothing about the curse, they panic and are separated.

Alone now, Xena struggles to escape the dangers of the forest, and in the ruins she finds an enormous tree turned monster. Seeing it, she understands she is in mortal danger. She tries to make her way home to warn the village, and the monsters drive her off course again. After several days she comes across a secret passage to her village.

Can she find her way back to a village already tainted by Darkness? Can she fight her way through it?

Her battles seem endless, and she must continue them.
