Game Guide

Interface Overview

This page walks through the game screen one region at a time. The numbers in the headings match the numbers on the screenshot below, and every hotkey mentioned here works from the moment you log in.

2. Basic menu and keys

These are the buttons you reach for most often. The number in brackets is the hotkey.

4. Walk and run

5. Vendor and inventory

The vendor button

From level 5 you can sell items through your own shop. Use this button to add items to your vendor or rename the shop. The hotkey is M.

6. Quick slots

The row of six quick slots

Quick slots hold teleport Lune or Dien, and any of the Exp, Skill, Resurrection, drop and repair scrolls. To take something out again, hold left click and drag it back to any inventory slot.

The hotkeys are F1 through F6. Right clicking a slot works too.

7. Weapons and skills

The weapon and skill bars, with the skills of other tribes shown greyed out along the bottom

You can equip and use only the skills of your own tribe. Skills belonging to other tribes appear along the bottom, and while you can obtain and store them, you cannot use them.

The number or design shown on a skill is the level of that skill or of its refined attribute (Tar, Yelba, Mir).

The Skills window is 2. Weapons are A, S, D and F. Skills are Q, W, E, R, T and Y, in that order from the left.

8. KI system

The KI window with sliders for attack, defense and soul power

KI lets you trade one kind of strength for another. Nothing is free here, so the mix that suits a boss fight is rarely the mix that suits a crowd.

  • U for full attack: more attack, less HP, defense and SP.
  • I for full defense: less attack, more defense, HP and SP.
  • O for full soul: more MP.
  • P to confirm.

9. Mini map

Your avatar shows in red. The top right corner gives the name of the current map and your coordinates. Party members appear as numbers, NPCs in yellow and portals in blue. The hotkey is 6.

10. Chat window

The chat window with its channel tabs

The chat window carries the Normal, Whisper, Party, Guild, Shout and Bigshout channels. The hotkey is 7. See Chatting for what each channel reaches and what it costs.

11. Nusamlatana teleport

This icon takes you straight to the haven of Nusamlatana, the keeper of treasures. Every server has one, and it is safe ground for everybody. There you can take an attack and defense boost from Salindra, buy premium items from Nusamlatana herself, and set up a personal vendor shop.

Press the icon again to return to where you were. If you log off inside the haven, the icon brings you back to Rian Village or Yerden instead.

Basic controls

Diagram of the mouse and keyboard controls
  • Left mouse button: moves your avatar to the point you click, and handles collecting items, selecting a monster and attacking. Hold Shift and click another player to open the one to one menu.
  • Right mouse button: uses the selected skill. It also cancels an item repair in progress.
  • Mouse wheel: zooms in and out. Home and End do the same.
  • Spacebar: picks up items from the ground within range. The first press collects all Dien, and each press after that takes one item in the order they were dropped.
